Stockton, California July 21- It was a busy opening day at University of Pacific Aquatic Center in Stockton, CA for teams competing in the Women's 20 & under National Championships. The tournament led of with a closely fought battle between UNI Pacific and CHAWP. Resulting in a 6-5 victory for UNI Pacific.
In the following games of the day the only two teams to remain undefeated where CHAWP White and SET. Both teams had two convincing wins over their opponents leaving them in great position. The biggest victory of the day belongs to SET who defeated Marin 15- 3.
UOP was not the only site for games, as they were played simultaneously at St. Mary's Aquatic Center. The White Caps definitely seemed to have an edge today as each team wearing white where victorious. By far the hottest team of the day was Stanford Red who scored a total of 34 goals in two contest while only giving up 11 goals. They defeated Huntington Beach 17-4 and Newport 17-7.
The action continues today beginning at 7am as teams battle to qualify for round play.
