Huntington Beach, CA - March 4, 2009 - USA Water Polo held its first Town Hall Meeting last night, in partnership with the Pacific Southwest Zone. More than 50 USAWP members turned out for the meeting, which included presentations by CEO Christopher Ramsey on organizational performance in 2008 and strategic growth plans. Olympic Development chief Guy Baker presented an overview of the new ODP program. Both men were on hand for the nearly four hour meeting, which also included updates from PSZ Chair Sean Green and Zone referee chair Gary Hull.
Topics discussed ranged from the relationship of ODP to club and high school programs, efforts to attract kids to water polo at an earlier age through civic partnerships and ways to strengthen the partnership between regional and national efforts on growth and competition issues.
