2004 Olympian and water polo ambassador Genai Kerr joined USA Water Polo as sport growth manager in 2017. A former standout at UC Irvine, Kerr was a key piece of the Men’s National Team as goalie for more than a decade. A two-time Pan American Games Gold medalist and four-time FINA World Championship participant, Kerr was part of a seventh-place effort at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Throughout his career and since his retirement from international water polo, Kerr has remained ingrained in the water polo community as a coach, instructor, and masters athlete. A former high school and club coach, Kerr also served as an assistant coach for Brown University men’s water polo.
