Kurt Gulsvig joined USA Water Polo in 2023 as Fundraising Events Coordinator and now serves as Development Manager. With a background in experiential marketing and large-scale event production, Kurt brings a creative edge to fundraising – turning moments into movements and events into experiences that inspire giving, belonging, and connection.

Before joining USA Water Polo, Kurt worked with ESPN and Turner Sports, supporting national marketing initiatives and live sporting events including the NCAA Men’s Final Four, the BCS Championship, and the NBA on ESPN Tour. His experience creating high-impact activations with some of the world’s most recognizable brands now fuels his work in advancing the mission of USA Water Polo and the dreams of its athletes.

In his current role, Kurt oversees national fundraising events and donor engagement campaigns that directly support USA Water Polo’s programs, athletes, and teams. His abilities in donor cultivation and corporate partnerships strengthen Philanthropy & Advancement’s Annual Giving and event sponsorship programs.

Driven by the belief that great events can do more than entertain – they can unite, inspire, and create lasting change – Kurt helps shape USA Water Polo’s growing culture of philanthropy as we look ahead to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and a new chapter for our sport.
