Kurt Gulsvig joined USA Water Polo as Fundraising Events Coordinator in March, 2023.

After graduating from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, Kurt began a career in experiential marketing with ESPN. He has worked in events for college football and college la crosse with ESPNU, the NBA on ESPN mobile RV tour, Men’s NCAA Final Four from 2007-2019, BCS Championship games, and numerous one-off events for Capital One and Turner Sports. After traveling the US for these events for two years, Kurt decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. During his time as a talent agent representing dancers & athletes, he also participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Man & Woman of the Year” campaign; a fundraising competition to see who can raise the most money over a 10 week period. At the time, our class had raised a record breaking $1.8 million.

In his free time, Kurt enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Anabel, mostly just watching trashy Bravo TV. He also loves watching sports and cheering for the Wisconsin Badgers in football & basketball, and the Chicago Bears!
