Drew Clute was hired in 2018 as the Coaches Education Manager for USA Water Polo. Clute will be tasked with the planning, development, and implementation of coaching curriculum, as well as various development opportunities for coaches all across the country. From 2014-16, Drew served as an assistant coach for the Boy’s Cadet National Team and in both 2016 and 2017 was head coach of the Boy’s Development National Team. Along with his current position of Coaches Education Manager, Drew serves as an assistant coach to the Men’s National Pipeline Teams.

Outside of water polo, Drew is the Director of a Special Education Program at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Ca. He is a graduate of Fresno State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration in 2006. Drew also has two teaching credentials in Social Science and Special Education, as well as his Masters of Education. Drew lives in Aliso Viejo, CA. with his wife, Kristen, and their daughter, Chloe.
