Irvine, CA – May 23 – The USA Water Polo Women's National Team will return to competition next month as it welcomes Spain to Southern California for two matches as both nations prepare for this summer's World Aquatics Championships, set for July 12–24 in Singapore.

The series will open on June 20 at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT at the William Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine, California. From there, the two will travel to Long Beach, California for a June 22 meeting at 4:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT on campus at Long Beach City College. Both games will stream live on overnght.com. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased by clicking here. USA Water Polo members, check your email for special members-only ticket discount.

Team USA will host Spain for its first home games since a fourth place finish at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. After three straight Olympic gold medals for the USA Women, Spain defeated the United States 13-11 during group play in France en route to becoming Olympic champions themselves. Before that, the two countries last met in the semifinals of the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha. That game was an 11-9 win for the Americans on their way to an eighth World Championship title, by far the most of any program in men's or women's water polo history.

Live stats of both matches will be available via 6-8 Sports. Follow @USAWP on Twitter (X), Instagram, and Facebook for additional updates throughout the series.
