How did the club get started: South Florida Water Polo began back in 2003 under the direction of Bruce Wigo and Istvan Csendes.
Where is home? The club practices and plays games out of campus pool at Nova Southeastern University.
Who do they play? The club takes part in a variety of competitions including local tournament, Zone Championships, and USA Water Polo National Championships such as Junior Olympics and Speedo Cup.
Host with the most: South Florida hosts the International Age Group Water Polo Tournament (9th annual in February 2011) and International Open Tournament (3rd annual in March of 2011) as well as a number of water polo camps and clinics through out the year.
Five years down the road: South Florida has a goal of increasing their membership to over 200 by 2015.
The college game: South Florida has been highly successful in sending players on to the college game. Below is a list of some athletes that have made the transition.
